I figured I'd start a post for some of you "older" members of the RTC to post to and catch up on. Of course by older I just mean people who have graduated and moved on to other things, not actually "old" people cause that can't happen to us right?
I guess its only appropriate that if I'm starting this posting and also qualify for it that I should be the first to post to it as well. So here are the past 13 years in a very small nutshell. Graduated from RHS, went to URI did a few shows there with the theatre and other small groups. Graduated and started substitute teaching around the island and Tiverton. Got a few long term jobs at MHS and RHS, but nothing permanent. Got married to Meg and hired into a full time job at RHS. Took over the Rogers Theatre Company in the fall of '06 with Lauren Dunbar. Co-directed The Canterbury Tales, Hard Candy, & Check Please. Got laid off from RHS so got a job teaching at Coventry High School in '07 but stayed on with RTC to co-direct Godspell and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. Then I decided that a blog would be a better way of keeping in touch with all you people so today I started this. Hope you enjoy, and I hope to hear from you too. -Peter Corr
