I had a couple of thoughts that I'd like to share with you regarding RTC and A Christmas Carol.
Are you familiar with a program "Christmas in Newport"? You can find the program online at www.christmasinnewport.org. It is a city-wide celebration with historic traditions of the Holiday Season. It may be a great way to get information out to the public for the performaces in Dec of A Christmas Carol. If you would like to pursue this I would be happy to help by contacting them.
Also in the spirit of Christmas and doing for others I wondered if RTC would be interested in donating a portion of your proceeds to charity. I would like to recommend The Community Housing Resource Board, an outreach organization which assists low and moderate income residents of Newport County who are seeking fuel assistance, as well as affordable or emergency housing. I realize that RTC probably needs all the funds it raises to keep RTC going but this may also be a way to reach out to the public and improve attendance for RTC. I sit on the Boards of Directors for CHRB and the members would be happy to assist with promoting the play. Perhaps I could get a graphics frind of mine to help with posters and board members would help distribute them.
